1. About Us
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Stefere LLC (“Stéfère,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including stefere.world, sfere.com, stefere.us, and steferejewelry.com (collectively, the “Sites”), as well as any purchases, services, or other transactions you conduct through the Sites (collectively, the “Services”).
Stéfère is a luxury fine jewelry brand incorporated as Stefere LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New York, United States of America. Our registered address is 366 Madison Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10017, USA. VAT Code: 474846553.
Our Sites are powered by Shopify Inc. By using our Sites, you also acknowledge that certain services are provided by Shopify and are subject to Shopify’s own terms and policies.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sites, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Sites on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Sites with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Products and Services
3.1 Product Descriptions
Stéfère offers fine and luxury jewelry, including ready-to-purchase pieces from our collections and custom or bespoke made-to-order pieces. We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including colors, dimensions, and materials. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will accurately reflect the actual appearance of the products. Slight variations in gemstone color, metal tone, or finish may occur and are inherent to the nature of handcrafted fine jewelry.
All product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
3.2 Pricing
All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and are not obligated to fulfill orders placed at an incorrect price.
Prices do not include applicable taxes, import duties, or customs fees, which are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please refer to Section 10 (Duties and Taxes) for further information.
3.3 Availability
All orders are subject to product availability. In the event that an item is out of stock or unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the option of a refund, alternative product, or estimated wait time.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order on our Sites constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product(s) subject to these Terms. A binding contract is formed only upon our confirmation of your order via email. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
Order confirmation emails are sent to the email address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address and delivery information are accurate. Stéfère is not responsible for non-delivery resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.
We reserve the right to cancel any order if we detect fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive activity. In such cases, we will notify you and issue a full refund of any payment received.
5. Custom and Bespoke Orders
Stéfère offers custom and bespoke jewelry commissions. These pieces are designed and crafted exclusively for the individual customer according to their personal specifications. The following terms apply specifically to custom and bespoke orders:
- —Full payment upfront: All custom and bespoke orders require full payment at the time of order confirmation. Production will not commence until payment is received and confirmed.
- —Non-cancellable: Once a custom order has been confirmed and production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled. No refunds will be issued for custom or bespoke orders under any circumstances.
- —Non-returnable and non-exchangeable: Custom and bespoke pieces are made exclusively to your specifications and are therefore not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.
- —Production timeframe: Custom and bespoke orders are typically completed and shipped within 2 to 4 weeks of order confirmation, depending on complexity. We will communicate estimated timelines and any delays as promptly as possible.
- —Customer specifications: The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all specifications, measurements, and design preferences provided at the time of order. Stéfère is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate information submitted by the customer.
- —Design approval: Where applicable, Stéfère may provide design proofs or previews for customer approval prior to production. Once approved, no further modifications can be made.
6. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept the following payment methods: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa. By providing your payment details, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and that all payment information is accurate and complete.
Stéfère does not store your full payment card details on our servers. All payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance requirements. For more information, please refer to Stripe’s Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We reserve the right to verify payment and identity before processing any order. In the event of a failed payment, your order will not be fulfilled until successful payment is received.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Stéfère ships worldwide. All shipments are fully insured and require a signature upon delivery. In-stock items are typically dispatched within 3 business days of order confirmation. Custom and non-stock orders are dispatched within 2 to 4 weeks of order confirmation. For full details on shipping methods, timeframes, and carriers, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
Stéfère is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, natural events, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title to the products pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address. Stéfère is not liable for non-delivery or mis-delivery resulting from incorrect address information.
8. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Stéfère does not offer cash refunds. Returns and exchanges are accepted on a store credit basis only, subject to the conditions set out in our Refund & Returns Policy. Key terms include:
- —Exchange requests must be submitted within 3 days of delivery by emailing info@stefere.com.
- —Items must be returned in their original, unaltered condition with original packaging.
- —Any alterations to the jewelry, stones, or sizing will void eligibility for exchange.
- —Custom and bespoke orders are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances.

9. EU and UK Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms, including rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and applicable distance selling regulations.
In particular, EU and UK consumers generally have the right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods (the “cooling-off period”) without giving a reason. However, this right does not apply to custom-made or personalized goods. As Stéfère’s bespoke and custom orders are made exclusively to your specifications, they are exempt from the cooling-off period under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK provisions.
For standard (non-custom) purchases by EU or UK consumers, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. To exercise this right, you must notify us at info@stefere.com within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be returned in original condition at your cost. Upon receipt and inspection, we will process your refund within 14 days in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your jurisdiction that cannot be legally excluded.
10. Duties, Taxes, and Customs
All applicable import duties, customs fees, taxes, and any other charges levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Stéfère ships on a DAP (Delivered At Place) basis, meaning the buyer bears all costs and risks associated with customs clearance and import into the destination country.
Stéfère has no control over customs processing times or import regulations in your country. We are not responsible for delays, additional charges, or refusals caused by customs authorities. We recommend that you check your local customs regulations before placing an order.
Prices displayed on the Sites do not include VAT, sales tax, or other applicable taxes unless explicitly stated. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be added at checkout.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sites, including but not limited to the Stéfère name and logo, jewelry designs, photographs, text, graphics, videos, and other materials, are the exclusive intellectual property of Stefere LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, design rights, and other intellectual property laws worldwide.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publish, transmit, sell, or create derivative works from any content on the Sites without our express prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Your purchase of a Stéfère product does not grant you any rights to the designs, trademarks, or intellectual property embodied in the product beyond those rights implied by law for the ordinary use of the item.
12. User Accounts
You may create an account on our Sites to access certain features and track your orders. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@stefere.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity, or if you violate these Terms.
13. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Sites or Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to:
- —Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- —Transmitting fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized payment information.
- —Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Sites or our systems.
- —Scraping, copying, or reproducing any content from the Sites without prior written consent.
- —Using the Sites in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair their functionality.
- —Reselling or commercially exploiting any products purchased from Stéfère without express written authorization.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Sites and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Sites.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory warranty rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law in your jurisdiction that cannot be legally excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stefere LLC and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Sites or Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stefere LLC and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Sites or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
17. Third-Party Links and Services
The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services, including social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and retail partners. These links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.
18. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Sites is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Sites, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in those policies. Please review them carefully.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Sites and Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York, USA.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit a complaint to an alternative dispute resolution body or online dispute resolution platform. The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
If you are a consumer residing in the United Kingdom, you may refer disputes to the UK’s alternative dispute resolution services as applicable under UK consumer law.
20. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stefere LLC regarding your use of the Sites and Services, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
